I just found several personal family photos, owned by me, that I uploaded to my tree here at Ancestry "Lifted" and then reloaded into another tree, thus wiping out my name as contributor of these photos. Now they have the name of the person who did this as contributor of these photos in their tree. So as a consequence of this I have made all my trees at Ancestry Private. Too bad a few bad apples have to spoil the whole basket but as it stands I feel I have no choice. It is so easy to just "Link" to any photo or document contributed to Ancestry, which is perfectly within guidelines. The "Linking" allows the name of the original contributor to remain and the photo or document appears in your own tree with their name attached. Simple and easy.
