I descend from Wilhelm Best and Anna Susanna Shaeffer Best and their daughter, Susanna Best Lauffer. I've been trying to find which of Susanna Lauffer's brothers my husband descends from. These are the Best brothers who left Westmoreland County and moved to Clarion County and founded Best's Church in Beaver Township. The information I have is Minervia Catlott Myers, b. 6 Dec 1856 in Clarion County, married William Benjamin King, b. 28 Jul 1851 in Clarion County. Minervia Myers was the daughter of Jacob Myers, b. 1820, and Elizabeth Best Myers. I am trying to find this Elizabeth Best's parents, and parent's parents etc. I have seen Elizabeth's name as Sarah too,so she may have been named Sarah Elizabeth or Elizabeth Sarah Best. She was born in Clarion County, probably in Beaver Township, and could have been a little older or younger than Jacob Myers, before or after 1820. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
