I've been attempting to put together a family tree, my father's side of the family has been difficult as my father did not know much past his parents. Since my father's death a few months ago I really want to find our ancestors. Any help or even a point in the right direction would be of great appreciation. My father was John Earl Hinkley, his parents were William Earl Hinkley and Maude (Clark) Hinkley. Both grandparents died in New York, William in New Rochelle, West Chester, NY and I believe Maude was in Binghamton but I'm not sure if the one I found in the SSDI is the correct one. My mother thinks not. I've hit a big road block, any help would be great.
