I'm looking for any relatives and more specifically the maiden name of the mother in this case. Joseph R. Doyle was born in Kentucky about 1866. His parents were Patrick R. Doyle and Ellen (unknown surname). In the 1870 US Census they appear in Louisville, Kentucky:

P.R. Doyle (40)b. Ireland
Ellen Doyle (38) b. Ireland
Jo Doyle (4) b. Kentucky

Patrick died around 1875 and Ellen and her son went to Pennsylvania. They appear here on the 1880 US Census:

Rev. P.J. Quilter (35) b. Ireland - Head of House
Ellen Doyle (48) b. Ireland - Cousin
Joseph P. Doyle (14) b. Kentucky - Cousin
Nora Pierce (21) b. Ireland - Niece

I think Ellen died about 1893 in Pennsylvania so I'm guessing her son also lived there. I really want to know her maiden name and how she was related to P.J. Quilter who is my great-great grand uncle. Any help would also be appreciated on what became of Joseph e.g. married?; children?
