Hi. Can anyone help me find an obit for a Thomas Hyland possibly born between 1861 and 1863. He died 14 feb 1889 Flatbush, New York.

Thomas had a brother named James and written in his obit it stated his brother ( Thomas) had died about 8 months before James' death in 1890. So i am pretty sure this is the same family.

It also states in James' obit one of their two sisters died the same year as Thomas in 1889 both died from Diptheria. The sisters names were Mary born about 1856 in New York and Margaret born about 1863 New York also. Their parents were Patrick and Margaret ( nee Johnston ) Hyland.

If anyone could find any obits for this family or at least one for Thomas i would be most grateful or point me in the right direction to search for these.
I'm in the UK so i am limited to US newspaper archives and such here.
