I am looking for familial information about my g-g-grandmother, Jemima Ann Wilson. She was born 31 Oct 1832 in Kentucky and moved with her parents to Rock Grove, Illinois where she married Franklin Cooper.

She first shows up in the census data in 1870 in Erie, KS and then Osage Mission in 1875.

In 1877, at age 48, she moved with her husband to Polk, Iowa, dying in Plainfield, Iowa in 1908.

I did find a tax assessment for Franklin Cooper from 1863. He was listed as a Horse Dealer.

Franklin and Jemima's oldest child was not born until 1856, they were likely married sometime in the early or mid 1850's.

Franklin was about 20 years older than Jemima, which makes me wonder if he was a widower.
