Hey all. I got the following message from John in my 23andaMe inbox this morning, asking that I share it here:

"In the past few days, we've had problems with both the genealogy and DNA servers. I'm not sure if this is related to the recent surge in uploads, or just bad luck, or whatever...

"As a precaution, I've taken the site down until I have time to visit the server site and do a thorough analysis of the problem. My time is very limited, so I'm not sure exactly when I'll be able to do this. It appers that it will be at least a couple of days. GEDmatch is a volunteer operation, and sometimes life's other priorities get in the way of the "fun" stuff.
