I have managed to trace my Great Uncle living in New York early 1900's.
He originated from Russia/Poland spending about 20 years living in the UK then Emigrated to USA about 1903. On all papers I have found birth place stated as Russia. This is stated in the UK and USA Census also on his Nationalization Documents online. My question is, are there any documents available in New York that may give the town where he was born, not just the Country? Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.
