One of my best matches is a private tree.
I contacted the person and gave them my main names (because initially my tree was also private)
They messaged back that it was probably their son's tree that I matched and they would check for names and get back to me.
I haven't heard anymore. I've since made my tree public since I realized how annoying these private trees are.
I'm debating about sending another message asking for access to their tree.
What has everyone elses' experience been with these private
trees.
I'm kind of baffled about why people do DNA and then show so little interest in exploring their matches.
