I am researching for an article on the poem, "Autumn in Martins Ferry, Ohio." I want to know the background surrounding James Wright's writing of that particular poem. He wrote it in 1961, I think. I'd like to know about borrowing old high school football schedules or old, early 60s or late 50s football game photographs, in the Shreve stadium. Also, is there a connection between James Wright and Lou Groza--would they have known each other?
