I have a Jane Dies born 1767 in Catskill, New York. She married a William Nelson May 24, 1785 in Montreal, PQ. She was the daughter of a wealthy Loyalist land owner in Catskill, NY. Apparently they lost their holdings when the revolution was settled. William and Jane had several children, including Wolfred, Robert, and George and lived in Montreal.
