Hello,
I am trying to find a birth record for my great great grandfather.
Marshal(l) Theodore Barton, b. June 3, 1855, d. 1922.
Probably born and died in Stockholm New York, or general area.
I know birth records did not start until 1881, so was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on how to go about finding one.
In 1880, census shows him in Stockholm.
At this point, I would be happy to even find a death certificate!!
