Hi,
Found this abstract in a book called Old Deeds belonging to the Salem County Historical Society ( NJ). Wondering if anyone can tell me if the land mentioned was in Delaware or over on the Jersey side? I ask as I know a place in Pennsville, Salem County, NJ, that was commonly called "the strand." This was generally the Penn beach area, close to where St. Georges Episcopa (originally Swedish) church is now, sometimes called the Church Landing in older references.

Vanden Burgh, Hendrick, of New Castle, Del. From John Williamsen, of the same place. A lott upon ye Strand at ye
River Syde. Original deed Feb. 2, 1680/81. Unrecorded.

I'd appreciate any information on either party in the deed, as it may pertain to my Webber and Vandevere family research.
Thanks,
Val
