Looking for information on William W. Christy, believed to be the son of Hiram and Mary Ann (Pritchard) Christy who were from Kentucky, but married in Decatur county, Indiana Dec. 25, 1834. William married (not sure where or when) to Sarah A. Smothers. In 1860 they were living in Clay twp with a one year old daughter named Mary. By 1870 they were in the same place with 3 girls and a boy, Wilbur G. Christy. By 1880, William and Sarah are gone, but Wilbur is in a Decatur county household listed as an adopted child and a younger brother, Edgar Milton is in another Decatur county home listed as a servant (5 years old). Need help with the Christy line prior to Hiram also.
