Hi everyone

After extensive searches I am still no closer in finding the birth records for two brothers Michael and Edward and the marriage certificate for their parents Henry and Mary and desperately need help.

Michael Lofthouse Hall born 1881 in Greenock, Scotland (census returns) possible date of birth 11 November 1881 (London, England, School Admissions and Discharges, 1840-1911) and 5 November 1881 ( London, England, School Admissions and Discharges, 1840-1911). On the 1891 census he is listed with his father Henry L Hall (born Kensington) and mother Mary A Hall (born Ireland) and his brother Edward John Hall (born Bloomsbury).

Edward John Hall born 1883 in Bloomsbury London (census returns) possible date of birth 7 February 1883 ( London, England, School Admissions and Discharges, 1840-1911). On Edwards Draft Registration paperwork he states his date of birth as 1878, but no other paperwork I have leads me to that date ie Marriage and census returns.

Their father Henry Lofthouse Hall b1840 in Kensington was married to a Louisa Frances Poulain De Bois Angers 21 January 1865 in Chelsea and shows them together on the 1871 and 1881 census but on the 1891 census he is shown as married to a Mary A Hall born Ireland 1859.

I cannot find birth records for Michael and Edward nor can I find a marriage cert for Henry and Mary. My cousin thinks their mother was Mary Ann Macrae but doesn't know where that piece of information came from and I cannot find a Mary Ann Macrae anywhere. She also thinks Edward may of been born in Ireland but again, no idea where that came from.

Honestly I am totally stumped and have no idea where I am going wrong in my search. Any assistance would be gratefully received.
