I am researching the Joseph or Job Massey family that lived in Coles County. They were enumerated in Seven Hickory Township in 1860 and again in 1880. I have not yet found them in the 1870 census.

Joseph (Job) and his wife Sarah were both born in England. Children William H., Jos. F., and Hannah were born in New York.

Only father Joseph (Job) and his son William H. appear in the 1880 census.

William H. appears in the 1910 census.
