I am searching for info on Jacob HOOVER who is said to have been born near Hagerstown, Washington Co, MD. I have been told he may be the son of David HOOVER & Elizabeth WILES, but have been unable to locate anything to document this.

Also searching for Elizabeth RHORER (ROHRER?) who is said to have been born 28 Dec 1787 near Hagerstown as well. I have been told she is a descendant of Samuel ROHRER, son of Hans Michael ROHRER, but again have been unable to find out exactly who her parents were. Samuel had a son, Reverend Jacob ROHRER who married Elizabeth BRUNER. Elizabeth Rhorer's age would be inline that of his children. Does anyone have any proof?

Elizabeth Rhorer later married Jacob Hoover in Jessamine Co., KY where many others i this family migrated.
