I am a descendant of Elizabeth Bartelot, a descendant of Robrt de Berthelot (born abt 1015 of Lisieux, France. Robert arrived in England in 1066 as part of William The Conqueror's invading army.

I have a substantial amount of information about the family after they arrive in England. However, I know nothing about Robert Berthelot's lineage except for a family claim to be descendend from Berthe, Charlegmangne's sister (who married Milo deVere, Count of Anjou)through a son named Berthelot. I'm trying to confirm this.

Any information about the de Berthelot familly in France prior to Robert de Berthelot would be greatly appreciated.
