John Peter Hale b. abt 1825 in Ky married Nancy J. Brook/Brock b. Nov 1830 TN. They were
married about 1851 in TN or AL. James H. b.1852, William E. b. 1855 and John P. b. 1856 in AL.
By 1860 they lived in Anderson Co. TX Josh Newt Hale was born there in 1860. By 1870 they had
Dudley Jackson b. 1861, Nancy Emaline b. 1866 and George W. b1870 and lived in Falls Co. TX.
Their last child Doctor Hale was born 1872. By 1880 the family lived in Comanche Co. TX.
John Peter Hale was last seen about 1880. He left home to be a witness at a murder trial and was never seen again.
Nancy J. Hale died after 1920 and is buried in the Luker Cemetery.

James Henry moved to Jones Co. TX, Dudley married a local girl Minnie Creed PURVIS and ended up in Canada.
