Hello: I have been searching for many years for my gggrandfather, who was a US Deputy Marshal in the area of McAlester,Ok and surrounding areas. He was killed by an outlaw outside of a bar in No. McAlester in August, 1887.
I would appreciate any information on him. Or where I could go to research it. Thank you.
