Does anyone have access to this book? It contains information about Cherokee surnames 1625-1892 and Whites that married Cherokees. One of the advantages of the Starr Book is that it is the only book that puts the Cherokees in a genealogical format, and Starr provides historical details about the early Cherokees that is rare, because as a Cherokee he had knowledge and details about the tribe that outsiders could not provide.
http://www.angelfire.com/al2/gasaguali/CHERNAME.HTM provides an index to Surnames.
