I am looking for my Haut/Ehlert ancestors from the area around Barth and Hermannshagen.
Martin (born Johann) Haut, born 23 Feb 1840, orphaned about age 9
- married Sophia Ehlert, born 27 Mar 1842, on 27 Oct 1861 in or near Barth
Sophia was the daughter of Maria Plumer Ehlert, born 21 Sep 1818. Sophia's father died shortly before her birth.

Five children were born to the family in this area before they emigrated to USA about 1873.

Gustav, born 3 May 1864
Minna, born & died unknown, died age 3 years
Frieda, born & died unknown, died age 9 months
Carl, born 27 Apr 1872

I haven't found any matches online via ancestry or familysearch. Does anyone have suggestions what/where to try next? Thanks.
