I am looking for any surviving children or grandchildren of Dorrance & Lola May ("May") Brown Smith. The couple lived in Santa Maria Valley, CA & after her husband's death, May went to live in Wasco, CA where it is believed that she died in 1990. (Dorrance Smith: 1910-1976, died Santa Maria Valley, CA. May Smith: 1913-Aug 1990?, Wasco, CA?). According to one Ancestry family tree, she had an unnamed son who is thought to still be living. I have been unable to locate an obituary for her online, but if she did in fact die in 1990, she died before the internet.

I would like to contact the descendant as we are distantly related through May Smith's Galloway line & at one time May Smith had information on the Galloway (ca 1780) Family Bible. I would like to know if she & her son inherited it or know its whereabouts as I would like copies of it that will further my research on that line.

May Smith's ancestry (to the Galloways) is: mother Rebecca Lou Green, grandmother, Flora Ann Wilson, great grandfather, William Hunter Wilson, gg grandmother, Sinia Galloway, ggg grandfather William Galloway and gggg grandfather Matthew Galloway. Our common ancestors are William Galloway & his father Matthew. The Bible was Matthew's (1759-1824) which was supposedly inherited by Sinia Galloway Wilson, Then to her son Isaac Newton Wilson (brother to William Hunter Wilson), then to Isaac Newton Wilson's daughter, Terah Mayer Wilson. Terah married Fred Lee Pitchford and she owned the Bible ca 1956. Fred Lee Pitchford and Terah Mayer Wilson lived in / around Mountain Home, Baxter Co, AR. I would also like to find and contact any of their descendants about the Bible.

Any and all information regarding any of these individuals, especially the living descendants of Dorrance & Lola May Brown Smith or Fred Lee and Terah Mayer Pitchford would be most appreciated.
