My husband and I are planning a trip to Harlan County in a few weeks. We want to visit the Hensley Cemetery to take pictures of grave stones for documentation of research. There may be other records - marriage, birth, etc. - that I would like to have copies of. Is it best to pursue these in person or via mail? Also, where is the best place to begin looking for such records?
