I am searching for information about my German Discher ancestors. Christian Discher, my great grandfather came to the states from Mecklenburg with his family around 1877 and appeared on the Chicago census in 1880. His wife Hanna, and children Adolphine(1862),Mary (1866).Bertha(1874)and Henry John(1877)all born in Mecklenburg.
