Hello,
just a quick question, does anyone know where people from Waterhouses would have been buried before the new cemetry opened in the 1960's.
I had a look around there a few days ago but could not find any evidence of an old churchyard. St Pauls church is there with new houses next to it, was the old burial ground here? or was it elsewhere?
A lot of my mams family lived around here in the late 1880 - 1890's and beyond, Callaghan, Brett and Dunn in particular, mant thanks
