Hello, I am looking for the parents of "Uncle Eric" McKay and my g.grandmother Georgiana McKay Lisherness/Lisheness . Georgiana b. St. George, N.B 1836/7
I have a family group picture taken app. 1909 (in Maine), of my Lisheness grandparents & children, "Uncle Eric" and my g-grandmother, Georgiana.
The problem is-On Georgiana Death Record her father is listed as William McCoy, Mother nee unknown.(I am begining to think this info might be an error)
The only Georgiana and Eric (as siblings) I can find in St. George are the children of Alexander and Mary McKay 1851 Census.
Also listed on Alexander and Mary McKay 1851 Census; Henrietta, who I believe married Hugh White; Isabella who may have married a George Williams; Thomas who I think married Priscilla Williamson.
There are 2 Eurick McKay 1838-1917 -Second Falls United Baptist Cemetery. St. George, N.B. (old)
#1 noted by the stone of Thomas McKay-Eurick McKay 1838-1917
#2 on the Hugh White stone "Uncle Eurick McKay" 1838-1917
and an Erick MacKay on the list of Unmarked graves.
Are there any McKays, White, Williams out here, who could head me in the right direction? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Claris
