I have a small hand painted picture and I'm trying to find
the location the scene was based on. My great grandfather was
from Ireland but I don't think it belonged to him. My other great
grandfather, Josiah Warne was born in Gunnislake, Calstock,
Cornwall. My great grandmother Eliza Mumford Warne was
born in Devon. Josiah lived for a while in Wales. The scene is
of what looks like a ruin of a church or castle which is made of red
sandstone. The building is on a steep hill and down below it
is either a lake or the ocean. The building has round towers
what appears to be a cone shaped top. I have that print at my Ready
