I would like to contact anyone that has information about the Burkett family in Bertie Co. I understand there was a Rev. Lemuel Burkett in Bertie Co. at one time, unfortunately I do not have any dates, but would assume that it was in the 1700's. I am trying to make a connection between the Burkett and Guard families that were in Tyrrell and Currituck Counties.
