The death certificate of Theodore Ernest/Earnest Autery
(b. 24 Feb 1881/1882 d. 15 Feb 1945)
lists his father as an 'Elijah Autery' of 'Pine Hill, Ala.'

So far, I have not found any documentation in Alabama to verify the unique identity of the Elijah Autery in question. If you can do so, please post.
