I am looking for info on Mary Jane Emberton, daughter of Richard R Emberton and Sally Waldrick(Waldrop) She had a sister Nancy who married John Dubree(Dewberry) in Monroe County. 1860 Monroe county census shows Mary Jane living with John and Nancy and their children. 1870 census shows her living as head of household with two children of her own, Ferdinand and Nancy (ages 11 and 6?) I believe that Ferdinand was the son of John Dubree and Mary Jane, I do not know who the other child belonged to or what happened to Mary Jane after 1870. Ferdinand is listed as Ferdinand Emberton on 1870 census but his name was later changed to Dubree. Did Mary Jane marry??? Who did she marry?? Did she leave Monroe County?
