I have a newspaper clipping announcing the death of Shadow Rogers, Ringling Brothers-Barnum & Bailey circus thin man, on a bus in Easton PA while traveling to his home in West Frankfort Illinois. The clipping is dated 1940 and gave his age as 36.

I have not been able to find any records for this Lowell Polley. Is anyone familiar with him or his family?
