My g-g-grandfather was Timothy and his wife sailed from Cork about 1832-1833. They settled in Ottawa(then called Bytown and went to Notre Dame parish there). They had children George,(who was born at sea) John, Catherine, Patrick, .........I believe 2 more, and moved away from Canada when baby died around 1847. Stayed in New York, briefly, Illinois (Marengo briefly), and settled permanently in Butler County in Iowa about 1853. I am a descendant of Patrick,
