I am not sure where to post this question. My mother has passed away so that is out of the question. Would I benefit more to learn about my fathers side if I had him tested, or would I benefit the same if I just had myself tested.? Obviously in order to get my mothers 1/2 I would have to do myself (I have no full siblings). My grandparents have also passed away. This would be of course using what Ancestry.com DNA kit they sell.
