I'm glad you received a response from Vicky about the Deberry family. My husband's family is only indirectly connected. I believe that your James H. {I didn't know it was Henry} Wood is probably the son of James H. Wood and wife Susannah Deberry. James H. Sr. married Harriet Moore 10 April 1824 in Northampton Co., and I believe your James H. was born about 1820 so he was probably the son of Susannah. I have an abstract of the will of James H. Woods {sic} in Northampton dated 20 Sept. 1839 and recorded June Ct. 1840. He names wife Harriot and several children, among them son James H. I am not sure of the ancestry of the father James H. I have no info about your James H. other than the 1850 Northampton census. What do you know about his descendants?
