Silk Road Modal Haplotype
Based on preliminary research and established location/values, the following yDNA values are now to be known as the Silk Road Modal Haplotype (SMH).
DYS19/17 (or 16)
DYS388/12
DYS390/24
DYS391/11
DYS392/11
DYS393/13
This Haplotype appears to be from the founding Scythian, Slav, Pheonician. Ashkenazi traders who established the land and sea trading routes c1200 BCE.
It also might be the common base haplotype for all those who are directly descendent of Jeremias Shrecongast (born c1639).
As a point of interest, pending further research, preliminary indications are that this haplotype is associated with one or more of the ten "lost tribes." It is associated with the founder(s) of the Chenchu Caste of India, who claim descent from one of their Deities. Deity descent and proximityy to Silk Road trader communities appear to be a common elements of SMH appearance.
I would like to hear from anyone whose male line evidences this Haplotype.
Thank you,
Bill
