The descendents of Michael Marion and Lenora Ray Mayberry are planning a reunion in Hamilton County, Illinois, on the weekend of June 29, 2003.

Michael Marion was the son of Frederick and Melissa Grimes Mayberry. Lenora was the daughter of John and Cassa Biggerstaff Ray.

Michael Marion Mayberry served in Co. I, 131 Illinois Infantry. He was b. Sep 1, 1839, Hamilton County and d. Jan 1 1892.
He married Lenora Ray 1859 She d. 1929, Thackeray, Illinois.

Some histories confuse our Michael Marion with Michael Mayberry who marrried Prudilla Bates. This error has been carried many years in histories.

All Mayberry descendants of Frederick and Priscilla Mayberry are also invited. They were the first Mayberrys in our line to move to Illinois sometime after 1818.
