I was told by a family friend that my real mother left me with her back in the late 70's and never came back. This women later gave me to a couple who would eventually become my legal guardians. The name I have lived with my whole life is probably not my real name. The women who raised me has passed away and she told me she had heard rumors my real mom had been killed. I am not sure why someone did not call the police and tell someone about me. I am still in touch with the original women I was left with and she refuses to help with find the answers to who I am and who is my mother? After some research and being nosey, It is pretty obvious something criminal happened.

I am approximately 40 years old. Its been told to me that as a toddler I resided in Alexandria Va.

It has been told to me that my grandmother did not speak any English.

The last name I have lived with is Gutierez. I always believed that I was Hispanic. After doing the DNA test, it does not show any Hispanic back round.

I signed up for this hoping I could find a DNA match that would help me find out who I am.

I am not sure how to achieve this. Can anyone help me understand how to use this site.

The biggest problem I have is not knowing my mother and fathers name.
