I have a copy of my great-grandfather's baptism record from 1895. I can understand all of it except for the godfather's occupation.

I have attached the certificate below. It says "Le parrain a été Maxime Hudon, plûtre/plâtre..." I'm not sure what plûtre or plâtre is. Is it supposed to mean that he is a plasterer?
