My cousin is looking for her sister who was adopted. This is the information giving by the family. Female child born in 1948 or 1952, (Two different aunts gave two different years) give or take a year, she was born at Staten Island Hospital, Staten Island, New York. Her birth mothers name was Orvenia Georgiana Otto Burns. Her birth mother died in Oct.of 2003, and took this secret to the grave. It was Orvenia's sisters who told us about the adoption. Orvenia had one daughter the was born before this child in 1946 and two other daughters born after, one in 1956, the other born in 1957.
