John COLBERT came from Ireland and settled in Charlotte County, NB, in about 1850. He and Mary Jane WATTERS had six children: James Edward (m. Mary CROWLEY), Mary Ellen "Sis" (m. Adaniram GILLMOR), Amy Catherine (m. Francis DEVLIN), Sarah Anne "Annie" (m. 1. William GRANT, m. 2. Charles SMITH), Elizabeth "Lizzie" (m. Ozro "Oscar" RILEY / REILLY) and John Jr. (m. Mary Anne "Minnie" STEWART).
