I wanted to restate on a seperate thread about the possiblity of there being two John Webbs. There have been some inquiries about Sally(ie) Ann Webb being the daughter of John Thomas Webb. There was another inquiry about Joab Webb, the brother of a John Webb.

Elisha (1) and Mary Sharp Webb had a son named John Thomas Webb, born 1851 in Lafayette Co., MS.

Silas L. and Nancy Elizabeth Berryhill Webb had a son named John Webb, born in Marion Co., AL in 1856.

Elisha was born in AL and Silas ends up in Utica, Hinds County, MS and is buried there. (It's not know where Elisha is buried as he died during the Civil War as a POW. His wife and some of his children are buried in the Webb Cemetery in Lafayette County, MS.)

I don't show a daughter for Elisha and Mary's son, John Thomas, which is the line I have more info on because this was my husband's line.

I have not been able to make a connection between Elisha and Silas, but I feel they are related in some way. Silas names a son, Elisha. Elisha names a son, Silas.

Any help to clear this up would be appreciated.
