I've been playing around with the site for a couple days and suddenly realized I haven't seen a single birth certificate. Is that something that isn't public? I noticed that I couldn't even find a record of my grandfather's birth in 1926 (beyond Census documents that show him) and I even know his full name (Leo J Kennedy Jr) and his exact birthday (November 7, 1926) in Massachusetts ...

I found it strange I couldn't find that. And beyond that, I also couldn't find a birth record for his father who I believe lived was born in Nova Scotia. Mind you, there are plenty of census documents that show my grandfather... but no actual birth certificate anywhere.

The problem is, on the census documents his father often lists different names and i'm still trying to clarify who I'm looking for.
