Searching for ancestors and family. In 1682(abt) some members of a WILLIAMS
family emigrated from Ireland to the colonys, settled in and around
Charleston, SC, raised large familys, and spread out. One of these families
had 2 sons, the older was John, the younger David, and that's all I know of
him. But John married, raised a large family, and emigrated to KY after 1780,
may have been in Montgomery Co. KY in 1786, but was settled on the Levisa Fork
of the Big Sandy R., in Floyd Co.(present day Johnson Co.) with wife Hannah(?)
and 3 of his youngest sons at the time of the 1790 US census. His sons
were...

I have a lot of info on my direct line, John H. WILLIAMS, as well as Isaac,
and a lesser amount on David, that I'd like to share with kin, and I really
need help in finding a clue to Johns (the elder) ancestors.
