Hello, A Great-great Grandfather of mine was named Patrick Connell,Sr., although the "Senior" would've been added in North America after he fathered a Patrick Connell, Jr. Anyway Patrick Connell (Sr.) was supposed to have been born in Derry on September 30, 1830. As a young man he immmigrated to Canada, fathered ten children. My grandfather, whom I knew, was a grandchild of Patrick Connell (Sr.) and was named John E. Connell. He was born in the state of Michigan in 1879. For now I am interested in finding out anything I can about Patrick Connell, born in Derry on September 30, 1830.
