Searching for Tipperary FANNING (sometimes spelled FANNIN) family. They lived in the 1800s in Killalae, which, I understand, is (was?) near Twomileborris. I don't know the names of the parents, but I do know they died around 1852. They had eight children; one of the children was Hugh [Joseph], b. 1818, who emigrated to the US around 1845-50; the youngest was Patrick S. Fanning, b. 1831, who emigrated to the US in 1850 after the death of his parents. He became a De La Salle Christian Brother (his name became Brother Paulian), and he returned to Ireland many times.

Hugh settled in Jeffersonville, IN. He was married to Catherine FOGARTY and they had three children: Peter, b. 1854; Mary, b. 1860; and John Patrick, b. 1863.

I would like to know the names of the parents in Ireland and of any other of their children.
