I have two sister's who were married in Marin Co. even though they lived in SF during that time period. Not sure why they married outside Sf but one reason could be there husbands weren't Catholic or these churches or court houses weren't as strict. Not sure but I now found the actual dates on Family Search but it does not show an image. I was hoping the image might give some hint on if it was a church or court house marriage. If anyone has a way of checking these easily I would be so grateful.
One of the sisters is listed as Anna but also went by Annie.
