Another question about reading 1905 Marriage records??!

Surnames: BLAGG
I believe I have located the marriage record of my great great uncle Frederick Blagg, born in 1880 in Stockport, and resided in Birkenhead, Cheshire according to the 1891 and 1901 census He was known on these records as 'Fred.' The marraige is found on the Marriage Registration Index at:

"England and Wales, Marriage Registration Index, 1837-2005," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/267G-4MZ : accessed 1 March 2015), Fred Blagg, 1905; from “England & Wales Marriages, 1837-2005,” index, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : 2012); citing Marriage, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, General Register Office, Southport, England.

Here he is listed as 'Fred' again in Birkenhead but the records simply says Fred could have married one of the following followed by four names, tow of which are female. I looked up the other males names on the 1911 census (one is odd Hayden Berwin Roberts!!) to see which lady THEY married but I found these name sin 1901 but not on the 1911 census.

Short of ordering a certificate (these are getting expensive) how would I find which lady Fred married in 1905?

Fred also received a Campaign Medal for Merchant Marine Shipmen from WW1.
