The Heishman Reunion is just months away. The date has been set for Saturday, August 20,2005, in Wardensville, West Virginia.
However the location in Wardensville is being moved. Irvin and Ann Heishman have graciously invited us to have the reunion at their circa 1825 home on the northern end of Wardensville. Coming in on Rt. 55 from Interestate 81 or Rt. 11, the house will be on the left just before the intersection with Rt. 259. For those coming from Baker, go though town past the War Memorial Building (where the reunion has been held the past couple of years), and take Rt. 55 east. The home is immediately on your right.
The Heishman's home is a historic landmark that the Heishman's have been restroing the last number of years. This location will offer wide porches, tall shade trees, and space for children (of all ages) to play games in the yard.
Please bring your musical instruments and your singing voices as well. Also, feel free to bring pictures and stories to share. There may be some surprises, too.
Tours of local cemeteries will begin around 10:00 a.m. Then there will be a carry-in lunch around 12:00 noon, followed by fun and fellowship. For those intested parties, a tour of the Baughman settlement can be taken later in the afternoon.
SO MARK YOUR CALLENDER NOW - We look forward to seeing you in August.
