Seeking any info on these families. Johann Friederich Schroeder born c. 1800, married Elisabetha Wessel (born 1800) c. 1818-22, known children Johann Friederich b. 1822, Maria b. 1825, William Friederich b. 1833, Louisa b. 1838, Gerhard b. 1839.
Family emigrated to USA, perhaps in 2 groups, beginning around 1850, Gerhard came in 1852, all ended up in St. Louis, Missouri. Cannot find any info on Johann Friederich (father). Unknown if he died in Germany, on voyage to US, or here in MO. All other family members died in MO or IL. Haven't had any luck searching LDS, German genealogy sites, or anywhere else. Haven't found any recs on any of them in Germany. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
